Fossils from Portugal

Welcome to my page collection of fossils. After Malacology, the place also came to the passion for paleontology, and already in my collection with many beautiful marine fossils from Portugal, harvested and prepared for me, from our coast.

For over 10 years, I was joining an extraordinary heritage of paleontological periods (Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary) and in particular the time (Miocene), with many millions of years, which contain fossils of sea urchins, shells, plants, fish teeth, among others.

The fossil echinoids (sea urchins) are my preference and expertise. Whether the huge number of species, it is possible to find the various geological periods and eras, both in their fossilization, which in some cases it is spectacular.

Soon we will add more and better pictures in the gallery. Suggestions and corrections are always welcome ...
