AZORES - São Miguel Island - 2006
São Miguel Island - September of 2006
After a long "crossing in the desert" seven long years, I'll be back again, have the opportunity to travel. This new trip, marks a new return to Azores. It would not be the return to Pico Island... but, the wonderful return to Azores.
During a week well spent, we traveled in many long ways throughout the island. Magnificent the island of São Miguel, leaves no one indifferent to its natural geological beauties, neither to his people. Friendly and humble people which stubbornly defies nature of a brave land, planted in the middle of the vast Atlantic Ocean...
Returning to the Azores again, was a big pleasure. Walk along the Lagoa das Sete Cidades (Sete Cidades lagoon), Lagoa do Fogo (Lake of Fire), eat the famous "Cozido à Portuguesa" in Furnas, or just bathe in the warm waters the lake of Terra Nostra Park. São Miguel, has a lot to offer, as long as you want receive... São Miguel, is a charming island, full of pure and brave life.
