DISNEYLAND OF PARIS - 2009

Disneyland 2009, it was a gift birthday trip, to my daughter...                                  Once in a lifetime, I highly recommend it. The Disney World is part of our imagination. I'm an unconstitutional fan of this beautiful dream world...

This was not the most fantastic trip for me, nor can I classify travel well. It was three days, one more nice moment of family pleasure... it was good, very good!

Many of us grew up involved in the fantastic adventures of the Disney World characters. From old books of little squares to older black and white movies and now in digital animation, who does not know one or more stories of the Disney characters? Probably, everyone... the Disney characters have become a Planetary phenomenon, children and adults.

The park Disneyland of Paris, (the only one I know) is a visual marvel that makes us teleport to a magical world of "make believe" pleasure. Personally, I found it all fantastic, but far short of what I imagined. It sounds magical, but it's not... in fact, it's more of a money making machine. It is very beautiful, but little magic. There nobody gives anything to anyone, not even a balloon to a child...

...Besides the fact that nobody gives anything to anyone (maybe this fact, that's just meanness on my part...) I also think, to be more of an amusement park in the style of generalized fun, than a theme park for all children of any age. That is Rollercoaster, behind Roller Coaster, for all tastes and shapes and little else. Lots and lots of souvenir shops, sweets and food. Almost all the structures of the park's scenery are simply positioned to get as much money as possible from visitors... Who loses the parade of the Disney characters, (in the style of Carnival buck), is left with little more to see. The Russian Mountains and similar, are many of them improper for small children and unfit for their parents. I got some scares, with my daughter...

Some simple advice:

If you decide go to the Disney Park of Paris, bring a wallet full of money and a great dose of patience. Even if you buy a tour package (plane + hotel + entrances to the park), there is still very extra money to spend... Patience, because depending on the time of year you leave, you will have to spend many hours in the waiting lines to walk in amusements (Russian Mountains and similar...). For this reason you should be prepared with clothes and footwear appropriate to the time of year and many water... Pay close attention to information at the entrance doors of amusements. Many of the amusements are not appropriate for small children, either by their size or age. Besides, it's just pleasure and fun...
