Pomatias elegans

Morphological Description: Pomatias elegans, Shell moderately thin reticulated Appendix pointed, convex with 4-5 turns very dark spots and bands of discontinued colors beige and violet. Operculum, has a core of calcified eccentric spiral sculpture.

Males usually a little smaller and thinner, with smaller opening than females. Length of the shells varies between 12.5 mm and 15.8 mm and their diameter between 7 mm and 11.5 mm.
